Since earning his Doctorate, Professor Barry Adams has had an outstanding academic career. He joined the University of Toronto’s Department of Civil Engineering in 1975, rising through the ranks to Full Professor in 1987. From 1991-1995 he served as Chair of the Environmental Engineering Program, and from 1994-2003 as Chair of the Department of Civil Engineering. Professor Adams has supervised over 50 graduate students and has published over 100 papers, books, book chapters, and 50 technical reports in his field of water resources and urban infrastructure.
