Topic: Eco Chefs: Building a New Age brand from scratch
Distinguished Speaker: Daniel Kaute, Partner, SDAZ Investments Corporation
Abstract: Following a career spent building companies, Daniel Kaute has recently concentrated on building a New Age brand from scratch. The mission of Eco Chefs is to bring tasty, real food for a variety of dietary needs to the health-conscious consumer. Daniel will discuss the challenges and pitfalls of creating a new brand in today’s environment.
Bio: Dr. Daniel A. Kaute is a partner in SDAZ Investments Corporation specializing in small business development and company start-up, with a focus on Clean Tech.
Since 2008, Daniel has been instrumental in setting up Eco Chefs Corporation, a company passionate about real food, creating tasty foods for the health-conscious consumer.
Previously, Dr. Kaute was President of Plasmatreat North America Inc. and was instrumental in establishing Plasmatreat®’s patented Openair Plasma Technology, with nanotechnology applications in the American market. He was also involved in the international expansion of Plasmatreat® Worldwide throughout Asia and Europe.
Prior to joining Plasmatreat® Worldwide in 1999, Dr. Kaute was a director at Danone. He has set up and led successful operations in Russia, and during his professional career in the U.K., Germany and Russia he developed a passion for building small businesses to international levels.
Dr. Kaute studied engineering at the Ecole Centrale de Paris in France, and received his Ph.D. in materials engineering from Cambridge University, England. Dr. Kaute is fluent in English, German, French and Russian.
