Explore, Create & Motivate - Girls' Day: Experience Engineering at U of T

Event date: Tuesday, February 19, 2013, from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM

'Explore, Create & Motivate - Girls' Day: Experience Engineering at U of T' is an event designed to encourage female students in grade 9 and 10 to pursue further studies in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM). By bringing these students on campus, engaging them in workshops led by current Engineering students and showing them our innovative facilities, we aim to inspire the girls to discover their personal potential and pursue a career in STEM fields.

Each class participates in an all-day session. Activities include informative presentations on our Engineering programs, career opportunities, engaging hands-on engineering design workshops designed to excite and challenge grade 9 and 10 science students, and tours of engineering lab spaces.

Each school can register one class, with up to 25 students per class.
