MEng Degree Info Session

Event date: Wednesday, November 24, 2010, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Location: Koffler House, Room 108, 569 Spadina Ave.

Dear third-and fourth-year Engineering students,

Now that you are nearing completion of your engineering studies, you may
be seeking opportunities to enhance your career growth potential and
complement your technical education. The University of Toronto now
offers a one-year course-based Master of Engineering (MEng) degree that
combines engineering business with advanced technical engineering
knowledge.

An information session will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 24, from
5-6 p.m. at Koffler House, 569 Spadina Avenue (where Bancroft Ave. ends at
Spadina) in Room 108. A presentation will be made followed by further
information at discipline-specific tables.

In addition to technical courses, we also offer management development
courses such as Financial Engineering, Project Management, and
Entrepreneurship and Business for engineers. To help you achieve this
degree in one year, a selection of intensive courses will be provided in
the summer term.

I encourage you to consider pursuing a graduate degree in engineering at
the University of Toronto and look forward to seeing you at the
information session. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to
contact Estina Boddie, Faculty Graduate Coordinator: estina@ecf.utoronto.ca

Sincerely,

Chris Damaren, PhD, PEng(BC)
Vice-Dean, Graduate Studies
