Spotlight on Research is an event that showcases some of the cutting-edge research taking place in the Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering at U of T. The event features two of our Faculty’s brightest IBBME PhD students, Evan Mills and Nika Shakiba, who will be presenting their respective work within the field of Biomedical Engineering.

Both presenters, who are also DEEP Summer Academy instructors, will talk about their university experience and share how they became involved in research.
