University of Toronto Engineering Kompetition (UTEK)

In its 10th year, UTEK continues to enhance the student experience, providing undergraduate students a forum to develop and practice the critical teamwork, design and communication skills that are essential in a professional engineer.

Each year, we have more than 250 dedicated participants. Only winners of UTEK in each category can advance into OEC (Ontario Engineering Competition) and potentially CEC (Canadian Engineering Competition). By that, UTEK lets students tackle real problems and build actual designs, allowing them to go beyond their classrooms into the real world of engineering. This year, we’ve got wide support from all the faculty departments, as well as external sponsors, such as AMEC.
