The Faculty of Applied Science & Engineering of the University of Toronto is the premier engineering school in Canada and one of the top universities in the world. We lead in research on a world scale and our program of study, providing strong engineering fundamentals, innovative thinking and multi-cultural collaborative skills, is designed to educate the global engineering leaders of tomorrow.

Our research focuses on knowledge creation and engineering innovations in a variety of areas including energy and the environment, nanoengineering, information technology and communications, and bioengineering.  Undertaken through extensive collaboration with industry, our research fosters economic development on a provincial and national scale and contributes to the solution of some of the world’s most pressing problems.  This environment combined with a curriculum that is continually revitalized to respond to the interests of our students and the needs of our global society provide a unique learning experience for inquiring minds.
