Ordering Stationery

Stationery is an an important way to communicate a coherent visual identity. In some cases, an item of stationery will be the first thing someone receives featuring the Engineering University identity. In others, an individual may receive hundreds of copies of the same document. Either way, the quality and consistency of our identity is crucial.

All University stationery is regulated by the U of T Strategic Communications team, who provided a standard online stationery ordering system to the University in 2008. All Faculty stationery should be ordered using this system. This includes:

Letterhead

With the Faculty, department, division or institute logo in the top left corner. Administrative units are to use the Faculty letterhead.

Business cards

With the U of T, department, division or institute logo in top left corner. All Faculty administrative units are required to use the standard U of T logo. Minimum required order: 250 cards.

Envelopes

With the Faculty, department, division or institute logo in the top left corner. Administrative units are to use the Faculty stationery logo.

“With Compliments” cards

With the Faculty, department, division or institute logo in the top left corner. Administrative units are to use the Faculty stationery logo. This can be customized to include your name and the “With Compliments” text can change to anything requested with a certain character limit (e.g., “From the desk of” or “With Thanks From”). This comes on standard letterhead paper, but can be changed to a heavier cardstock upon request.
