Centre for Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CEIE)

Targeted to break ground in 2015, the landmark CEIE will rise on one of the last pieces of prime real estate in the St. George Campus, right beside Simcoe and Convocation Halls. It is a building that responds to the sweeping changes taking place in engineering, breaking down walls that can create barriers for research collaboration and multidisciplinary thinking.

Pre-University Programs

The Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering is committed to inspiring youth within the community and across the world through outreach programming that focuses on engineering and applied sciences. These programs range from summer live-in programs to weekend courses during the fall and spring terms.

Located in the heart of the Engineering Complex, the Engineering Welcome Centre is your first stop when visiting U of T Engineering. Here you can take an Engineering Campus Tour or speak to one of our recruitment specialists about our programs.

Student Diversity

Our students come from all 10 Canadian provinces and 45 countries in every region of the world. To reflect the diversity of our student body, the Faculty houses five cultural clubs and seven internationally acclaimed design groups, including the U of T Formula SAE Racing Team which ranks fourth in the world out of 505 teams. The Faculty also has a number of professional and social groups that strengthen our global network, including Eyes of Hope and Engineers Without Borders.
