Engineering EDI Action Group Scholars Strike Drop-Ins

September 10, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm EDT

The Scholars Strike bring together academics who are outraged about the relentless anti-Black racism and killing of Black people by police in Canada. At FASE we support colleagues attending teach-ins (https://scholarstrikecanada.ca/schedule/) and educating themselves on these issues (https://www.engineering.utoronto.ca/files/2020/06/Resources-for-addressing-anti-Black-racism-Compiled-by-EEDIAG-June-2020.pdf). One way we are participating in the strike by offering drop-in hours on Wednesday & Thursday 1-2 pm EDT. Join members of the Action Group and debrief on the strike, what you are learning and what actions you hope to take after the strike to keep this work going.
