Mentorship 101: Become a student mentee

AMP header 2025

Welcome aboard, future engineer.

Your journey through U of T Engineering is just beginning — but you don’t have to navigate it alone. The Alumni Mentorship Program (AMP) connects you with experienced alumni who have been where you are and can help guide you where you want to go.

In this mission, you’re the astronaut charting your own course through new challenges and opportunities. Your alumni mentor is your personal mission control, offering insight, support and real-world perspective to help you launch with confidence.

🚀 What to expect:

  • Flexible time commitment that fits your schedule
  • One-on-one or group mentoring options
  • Career-focused conversations: resumes, interviews, job search and more
  • Fun, informal events to connect with mentors and fellow students
  • A chance to build confidence, clarity and community

🛰 How to join the mission:

  1. Register for the virtual Mentorship 101 session on Wednesday, September 17, 2025
