Registration (One Day) – 2026 Meeting of the Global Hydrogen Production Technologies (HyPT) Center

The event is the annual meeting of the Global Hydrogen Production Technologies (HyPT) Center. The HyPT centre is an international partnership of five countries – US, Australia, Canada, UK, and Germany – to formulate a pathway to low-cost large-scale net-zero hydrogen production, with funding from US, Australia, Canada, and UK (see Home – Global Hydrogen Production Technologies (HyPT) Center). The Global HyPT Center advances three major net-zero hydrogen production technologies with strong potential to deliver breakthroughs: (1) Water electrolysis including renewable energy integration and emerging electrolyzers; (2) Methane pyrolysis with solid carbon as value-added co-products; and (3) Photocatalytic solar water splitting. The Center will also tackle two major cross-cutting challenges for net-zero hydrogen: (4) Policies, economics, and markets for building a global hydrogen economy; and (5) Water resource and treatment for electrolysis and photocatalysis.

The first day (from 8:45 am till 3:30pm are of interest to a wider audience and are open to all registered guests. The second day concerns research planning of HyPT and is closed to those not members of HyPT.
