Buildings closed — power outage

To our U of T Engineering community

Due to an unexpected power outage, the following U of T buildings are closed, effective immediately and until at least 9:00 pm today, Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2022:

  • Wallberg Building (008)
  • Myhal Centre for Engineering Innovation & Entrepreneurship (087)
  • D.L. Pratt Building (008A)
  • Engineering Annex (021)
  • Electrometallurgy Lab (093)

The entire buildings are affected. Toronto Hydro is aware and en route, and the University is working with them to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Those students, staff and faculty in the above buildings will need to relocate on campus, or go home for the day. Students, please check your inboxes for messages from your instructors regarding specific courses that may be affected by these closures.

We will keep you informed as we learn more.
