BizSkule Presents: Blockchain – Decrypting the New Economy

April 19, 2018 @ 6:00 pm EDT

Rarely does a technology come so quickly to the forefront as blockchain has in the past few years. The increase of blockchain awareness has lead to new cryptocurrencies, applications for finance, health care, and law, and developed considerable debate on its potential for the future. What does blockchain mean for you, and how will it affect your life?

This discussion will expand to showcase blockchain’s role in distributed ledger technology, cryptocurrencies, and the benefits and risks of adopting these new tools.

Our panelists come from a range of backgrounds and will be sharing how they have seen the revolutionary growth in blockchain develop, and where it can take us from here. Meet fellow U of T alumni and network amongst colleagues while enjoying cocktails and canapés.
