The Centre for Research and Applications in Fluidic Technologies (CRAFT) is a unique partnership between the University of Toronto and the National Research Council of Canada that creates microfluidics-enabled devices for industrial and clinical applications. CRAFT includes academic and government researchers, trainees, clinicians and companies.
The CRAFT Virtual Symposium is a 3-day event that will showcase cutting-edge microfluidics research in organ-chips, biofabrication and microfluidics-powered diagnostic devices. It will feature three international keynote speakers, 50+ presentations, a Microfluidics Art Competition, a networking event, and much more.

Key features of the 2021 CRAFT Virtual Symposium
- hosted by the National Research Council of Canada (NRC) and the Training Program in Organ-on-a-Chip Engineering and Entrepreneurship (TOeP)
- held on virtual symposium platform, where recordings of sessions will be available for on-demand viewing for 2 weeks

Registration information
Registration Fee: $35(+HST) per person (from academia, government or industry).
Registration is now open and will close in mid-August 2021.
Registration fees will be waived for the following individuals:
- CRAFT Fellows and other trainees presenting their CRAFT projects
- Current TOeP trainees and Principal Investigators
- Early career researchers who have been an independent investigator at a university or research hospital for 3 years or less AND anyone who is part of their research team.
