Start Strong – Learning Together BONUS SESSION: Build a better page

NOTE: This Learning Together event is part of our Start Strong series and builds on topics and activities from Module 2 of the Start Strong Quercus course and from Learning Together Session 1: Build smart using a FASE Quercus course template. While not absolutely necessary to participate in the session, we encourage you enroll in the Start Strong course using the Join Code and start working on the module activities before the session.

Quercus Pages offer a versatile way to create and present course content directly on the web. Pages can include text, video, and links to files and other course content (e.g., modules, other pages, announcements, and assessments).  Using formatting and styling options, you can customize the look of your pages to make your content easier to find, and more fun and engaging for your students.

In the session, you will use the Quercus Rich Content Editor and the HTML editor to:

  • Create a customized, visually-interesting home page, using a banner image, buttons, and links to course materials and support resources,
  • Build a well-organized, easy to navigate content page with headers, images, embedded video, and a table of contents, and
  • Review 6 key principles for making your Pages accessible.

Have a question for the session moderator? Let us know if advance by submitting your question on the registration form!

Can’t attend? These sessions are interactive and they will not be recorded. If you can’t make a session, and are interested in this topic, please book a consultation.

This is an online event only.
