National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women

14 blue roses aligned horizontally

December 6 is the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women. Join the U of T Engineering community in a series of on-campus events over three days to honour the lives of the 14 women killed at Montreal’s École Polytechnique in 1989.

To mark the 36th anniversary of this devastating act of misogyny, we will join together in collective grief for all those lost to gender-based violence as we remember those who were killed, and look toward a better future.

All are welcome to join.
