Alumni Mentorship Program Information Session

Wed September 18, 2024 @ 6:00 pm - 6:45 pm

Accelerate the future: join the Alumni Mentorship Program!

The Alumni Mentorship Program (AMP) fosters valuable relationships between U of T Engineering alumni and students. An engineering education prepares you for a career in a wide range of fields and disciplines, and a mentor is invaluable to help navigate a career, create lasting connections and hone leadership skills.

Imagine mentorship as a Formula 1 race: student mentees are the drivers, and alumni mentors are the pit crew providing critical support and guidance.

  • The time commitment is flexible throughout the academic year, allowing mentors and mentees to engage in a way that suits their schedules.
  • Whether it’s a quick one-hour session or ongoing meetings, mentor involvement is essential to their growth and development.
  • Our team also hosts several exciting events to allow mentors and mentees to connect throughout the term.

How to register as a 2024-2025 alumni mentor:

  1. Shift into high gear: Register for the virtual information session on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, to learn more about mentoring. If you can’t attend but still want to participate, please register to receive the recording and presentation slides.
  2. Sign up as an AMP alumni mentor for 2024-2025.
  3. Join U of T Engineering CONNECT and become part of the elite 2024-2025 Alumni Mentorship Program Group.
  4. Once you receive a membership approval email, log into U of T Engineering CONNECT, select GROUPS on the left-hand menu, and join the 2024-2025 Alumni Mentorship Group to stay updated on events and news. Learn more about our events and expectations on the Alumni Mentorship Program webpage.
