Black Histories Edit-A-Thon – Wikipedia Edit-a-thon [UofT students only]

Join the Black Histories Edit-a-thon for a series of free, online events throughout Black History Month! No experience necessary! You can learn the basics or get a refresher on editing Wikipedia and Wikidata, then edit alongside others who are passionate about improving digital coverage of Black histories and experiences. You can also join the event and edit at your own pace throughout the month.

Wikipedia Edit-a-thon [UofT students only]:

Join Innis College Library for a beginner-friendly editing session to learn more and to help improve coverage of Black histories in Wikipedia with a focus on Black Canadian writers. No experience necessary and training is available! Come in for a bit or for the whole session!

This event is a joint effort by library and archives staff and students at the University of Toronto, Toronto Metropolitan University, Toronto Public Library, and York University.
