Difference Maker Award Tips & Chips Workshop

October 22, 2024 @ 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm

The Difference Maker Award simultaneously celebrates and empowers engineering students chasing their dreams, taking on big challenges, and making a positive impact in service to others. It recognizes students in their final year who have demonstrated leadership and have developed a vision for how they will work towards making the world a better place after graduation. This award is valued at $50,000.

Not sure how to write your Difference Maker Award application? Troost ILead will facilitate a workshop to support interested applicants in developing a strong Statement of Purpose. We’ll answer questions and give tips on what makes an application package stand out. The Tips & Chips workshop will cover how to:

  • Clarify your leadership identity and narrative
  • Develop and articulate your vision
  • Identify who/how to ask for strong testimonial letters

Join us for some chips (snacks) and we’ll give you tips on what makes an application package stand out! Register here.
