The University of Toronto, BCG, and Global Spark are extremely excited to announce this year’s Global Spark Thought Leader Panel: Innovation in Global Health. This event is FREE to attend.
The panel will be held on Saturday, March 6th at 11am EST, and will feature three global thought leaders:
- Dr. Andrew Trister (Head of Digital Health Innovation at the Gates Foundation, former Head of Machine Learning and Research for Health Special Projects at Apple)
- Jim Larson (Managing Director and Partner at BCG, Global Health and Social Impact expert)
- Maureen Lewis (CEO & Founder of Aceso Global, former Chief Economist of Human Development at the World Bank)
The discussion will be moderated by Natasha Walji, a Director at Google Canada and one of Canada’s Top 100 Most Powerful Women.
The pandemic has highlighted the importance and universal impact of Global Health challenges. However, there are crucial Global Health challenges beyond COVID that will be essential to address in the near future. Our panelists will discuss the opportunities and challenges faced when designing and implementing digital health solutions in the developing world, and the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration.
Select participants will also have the opportunity to network with the panelists. If you are interested in attending, please sign up at bit.ly/global_spark_panel and checkout globalspark.world/#/thoughtleader for more information!
