In-Person: 2023 MIE Capstone Design Showcase & Chair’s Reception

April 14, 2023 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

RSVP required.

MIE is thrilled to bring our annual Capstone Design Showcase & Chair’s Reception back in-person!

We extend an invitation to our alumni, industry clients and friends of the MIE department to attend the 2023 MIE Capstone Design Showcase & Chair’s Reception to celebrate the student projects that were created as a result of our Capstone program.

The Capstone program is an opportunity for fourth-year undergraduate students to work on design projects that meet specific client needs. The students work in teams to address real-world problems presented by our industry partners. This showcase is the culmination of the program where students display their projects and prototypes.

At the Chair’s Reception, hosted by Professor Greg Jamieson, Interim Chair of the Department of Mechanical & Industrial Engineering, guests will be able to learn more about our students’ innovative design projects, as well as network with alumni, industry and faculty members.

Reception-style food and refreshments will be provided.
