Will there be food?
Yes, dinner will be provided at sunset in observance of Ramadan and the Iftar will be catered by Lebanese Garden

Who should attend?
You may identify as a woman, a trans woman, 2SLGBTQ+, Black, Indigenous, a race or ethnicity that feels marginalized in engineering or any intersection of these identities and are wondering if an engineering career is a safe place for you? In recognition of National Engineering Month and International Women’s Day, this event will give you ways to job search and network, along with advice from entrepreneurs and engineers about ways to navigate your career for success.

The Graduate Society of Women Engineers (GradSWE) along with UofT Engineering’s Office of Diversity, Inclusion and Professionalism

What is the event program?

4:45 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. – Arrival, refreshments

5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. – Workshop with advice for job searching and networking

6:00 p.m. – 6:10 p.m. – Break, refreshments

6:10 p.m. – 7:15 p.m. – Panel discussion and Q&A with Alexandra Panousis, entrepreneur, and Tiffany Joseph of Microsoft

7:20 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. – Iftar and networking
