Open Conversation: Imagining the Future of EDIA Work at U of T Engineering

Lunch provided for those who register by Wednesday, March 26. Join for all or part of the event.

One of the key elements of good engineering is having multiple perspectives and voices involved in the design process.

Equity, diversity, inclusion and accessibility (EDIA) continue to be critical aspects of our work to create learning and working environments where all feel they belong.

All U of T Engineering students, staff, and faculty members are invited to join us for lunch and an open conversation on Tuesday, April 1st (no foolin’!). Come find inspiration and motivation as we consider how EDIA-related initiatives and efforts will impact our faculty in the coming years.

The event will include:

  • Screenings of short documentaries about remarkable engineers with inspiring stories of perseverance
  • Discussion of recent updates about EDIA initiatives from the university’s and faculty’s leadership
  • Creative and fun group activities

Register here by noon on Wednesday, March 26, to receive lunch at the event. Late registrants are welcome to join on the day as your schedule allows, but lunch is not guaranteed.

Presented by the U of T Engineering Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Action Group.
