Start Strong – Learning Together Session 1: Build smart using a FASE Quercus course template

NOTE: This Learning Together event is part of our Start Strong series and builds on topics and activities from Module 2 of the Start Strong Quercus course. While not absolutely necessary to participate in the session, we encourage you enroll in the Start Strong course using the Join Code and start working on the module activities before the session.

Time is in high demand and Quercus is a varied and multi-functional system. Teaching teams might not have as much time as they’d like to spend developing and building their own unique Quercus courses. This is why we’ve developed a FASE Quercus course template that you can import and customize within your own Quercus course shell. Through effective course organization, you can support your students’ learning experience even before your course starts!

In this session, you’ll learn how to import the new FASE course template and customize it to improve course structure and navigation, and create consistency and predictability across course materials.

In the session, you will:

  • import and edit a Quercus course template,
  • review the Quercus tools that support effective course organization and content structure (including Course Navigation menu, Modules, and Pages),
  • explore how to use these tools to help students navigate your course and find materials with ease, and
  • use a course set-up checklist to help get you started with your course organization.

Have a question for the session moderator? Let us know if advance by submitting your question on the registration form!

Can’t attend? These sessions are interactive and they will not be recorded. If you can’t make a session, and are interested in this topic, please book a consultation.

This is an online event only.
