Women in ECE Event

Join ECE Chair Professor Deepa Kundur on March 24 for Women in ECE, a gathering that celebrates leadership, innovation, and the power of community.

Centered around the theme of ‘Entrepreneurship’, this event will feature a panel of female entrepreneurs and leaders in electrical and computer engineering.  The discussion will explore firsthand experiences in building companies, leading innovation, and navigating their career to entrepreneurial success.

All members of the ECE community are welcome to participate in this timely and relevant conversation.

Register by March 17 — spots are limited!

This event is designed to create networks between women, trans, two-spirited, and non-binary people within the field of ECE. The department hosts many gatherings throughout the year to support everyone in the community.

The ECE department is committed to fostering an environment in which each member of the community can excel, contribute, and benefit from different perspectives. We take this research-based approach to have a positive effect on team innovation, to improve the collective intelligence of working groups, and to let everyone bring forward their best selves. We reaffirm human rights principles and our obligations to the Ontario Human Rights Code and actively act against bias, harassment, discrimination, or intolerance of any kind. A connected community is one where everyone belongs, feels safe, and knows that their contributions matter.
