Annual Dinner Dance - Track One’s annual Dinner Dance this year was a remarkable event, with over 50 tickets sold. The dance was hosted at Hart House’s Great Hall, featuring a theme of dark academia. Professors Benjamin Kinsella and Salma Emara delivered inspiring speeches, along with our discipline club chair Jim Xu. This annual event is the flagship gathering of the TrackOne Club, bringing together this small, one-year discipline for a final send-off, and was an incredible display of Skule spirit.
Peer Mentorship Program - Track One Club has successfully relaunched its peer mentorship program, designed to connect former Track One students with current students seeking guidance as they decide which discipline to transfer to. This pilot year saw participation from 9 mentors and 25 mentees, and the feedback from students has been overwhelmingly positive.
Thanks to CIPSIF funding, we were able to offer tickets for the 8Ball Graduation Dinner Dance at a significantly reduced price of $38, which led to higher engagement. Additionally, we invested in replenishing Track One patches at EngStores, ensuring that any student who wishes to represent Track One on their leather jackets and coveralls have the option to do so in the future.
