Paurana Capital Derivatives Trading Club
Paurana Capital educates and nurtures aspiring student traders through weekly seminars focused on trading fundamentals, mindset and risk management. We bring in industry experts; such as hedge fund titans, to inspire students, and host trading competitions to sharpen their analytical thinking and showcase what they can achieve.
Key accomplishments
Trading Competition - Organized and facilitated a no-cost trading competition, empowering students to apply real-world strategies, benchmark their performance against peers, and adapt to market volatility.
Moez Kassam - Hosted a seminar with Moez Kassam; founder of Anson Funds, to share how his firm operates, risk principles and the realities of trading.
CPSIF funding impact
Thanks to CPSIF funding, we were able to hit the ground running in our first year. The support helped us build our brand from day one — with business cards, flyers, and stickers that brought students to our booth and into our vision. It also played a key role in hosting events where we brought in industry leaders to speak with our members. As a brand-new initiative with big ambitions, this funding gave us the boost we needed to establish credibility, build momentum, and set the tone for what’s to come. We're incredibly grateful for the support.
