TrackOne Club
The TrackOne Club is committed to fostering a strong sense of community and support among TrackOne students by helping them feel connected, informed, and supported throughout their first year of engineering and transition into their chosen disciplines. This is achieved through the organization of various academic and social initiatives throughout the year, including the mentorship program and the annual 8Ball Graduation Dinner Dance, where current and former TrackOne students have the opportunity to connect, build relationships, and receive guidance and support from upper-year, previous TrackOne students.
Key Accomplishments for 2025-2026
The Track One Dinner Dance held at Hart House was this year’s largest event, bringing together students from multiple years for a final celebration of the graduating class. The evening included dancing, speeches from TrackOne Club members, and a surprise performance by the Skule Band, creating a memorable opportunity for students to celebrate and connect with one another.
This year also marked another successful year for the club’s mentorship program. With 15 mentors and 21 mentees participating, first-year students had the opportunity to connect with upper-year students who provided guidance on academics, extracurricular involvement, and future career and discipline pathways. The program helped foster a supportive environment and encouraged stronger connections within the TrackOne community.
CPSIF Funding Impact
CPSIF funding helped the Club offer Dinner Dance tickets for just $35. This price was significantly lower than previous years, which helped drive ticket sales.
