Laboratory Sessions - Our laboratory sessions are public and open to anyone who completes our safety training process. Across all our laboratory and safety sessions, we have garnered at least 150 unique participants. This is an increase of 40% from last year, and reflects continued strong interest in UTCV.
Eckhardt Northeast Student Regionals - Earlier this March we sent a team of 15 engineering students across different disciplines to participate in the Eckhardt Northeast Student Regionals Chem-E-Car contest. We competed on a poster competition and ran our own designed car against other universities such as Cornell and Yale. Overall, our team achieved second place, reflecting on the strong design and technical performance of our team's engineering students.
Thanks to CPSIF funding, we were able to investigate and roll out new designs for our in-house chemical clock and battery, replacing an old design that had been in use for the past three years.
